Amanda & Tyler
The Union on Eighth
Georgetown, TX

I wish I had adequate words to describe how truly incredible this day was. Nothing I write will ever incapsulate the magic of it. Amanda & Tyler planned their wedding day with such intention and creativity. From a design perspective, there was a reason behind every touch and every detail. Amanda’s dress was hand designed by Renegade bridal, with a letter that Tyler wrote to Amanda on their first anniversary transcribed on it. It was a beautiful, thoughtful surprise and made for one of the (if not THE) most unique dresses we’ve ever photographed. Their welcome table was adorned with beautiful sketches of Amanda & Tyler that Amanda drew herself; for their reception and ceremony details, they wanted to make the most impact without having to spend a fortune, so they hyper-focused on a select amount of beautiful details and it was so special. Amanda & Tyler’s families were so kind and loving towards us; we spent the whole day with them (14 hours), and from the moment we walked in that morning, they treated us like part of the family. They are hilarious, kind, compassionate, loving. Amanda & Tyler’s connection to one another was such a joy to witness, which sounds cliché, but there’s just no other way to put it. It flowed from laughter one minute, to a calm embrace the next. Their vows were some of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard, literally every person in the room had tears in their eyes. It was also our first time shooting at the Union on Eighth and talk about SUCH an inspiring venue! There were so many awesome places to shoot, when we were making this blog post, I (Kelsey) literally had 400 favorites, so you’re lucky that we’ve cut it down to this!

This is one of those rare days that I would experience over and over again. There were so many moments full of love.
