You'll receive your fully edited image collection 10-12 weeks after the wedding date in an online gallery. Then you cherish your gallery for the next 5, 10, 20+ years!

Rehearsal Dinner Coverage
The first time you get to put your gown on and have your hair and makeup all done, we get to capture those magical moments when you first feel like a bride. This is a great time to arrange your trials with your h/mu artist & florist! As well as test out the alterations of your gown before the big day. Let's get artsy, let's have fun.

Experience
A photographer on our team, posing and capturing all of your guests in an immersive portrait station experience that fits the aesthetic of your event. With LIVE EDITING, and uploads within 30 minutes to a gallery your guests get instant access to, the images circulating will be beautifully curated. No cheesy props, but fun angles and professional posing help to give every guest images that feel timeless and classic and, most of all, FUN.

SUPER 8 VIDEOS
3-5 minute videos, no audio (except custom chosen music). True, honest, filmy footage shot with the intention of being an extension of your photo collection; video that seamlessly integrates with your photos and memories. A keepsake of moving pictures.

After receiving your inquiry, we’ll meet over Zoom or coffee to get to know each other, hear your wedding day vision, and determine if we’re all a good fit!

BOOKING
You know we’re the perfect addition to your team of wedding artists, and are ready to make it official! All you’ll need to do is sign the contract and pay the 25% deposit to reserve the date!

ENGAGEMENT
Next up is your engagement shoot! We include these in our packages because we feel that they are such a beautiful time to get to know one another, and to help you start to get comfortable in front of the camera! We do most of our engagement shoots in the Austin area, but we’ve also traveled everywhere from Oregon to Utah to West Texas to Paris for our clients’ engagement shoots.

We have questionnaires we’ll be sending to you throughout the process asking about all the details of the day, including timeline, family photos, how you want the day/images to feel, etc!. All those details will be used to help us create a perfect timeline

IT’S WEDDING TIME!
We, Kelsey & Talon, arrive on your wedding day ready to document the art that is your wedding day. We don’t take it lightly that you’ve trusted us to document one of the most pivotal moments in your life, and we love taking what’s in front of us and creating art from it.

HEIRLOOMS
You’ll look back through your wedding photos 5, 10, 20+ years down the road and be transported back to the way it felt to live in those little moments. The butterflies of walking down the aisle, seeing your parent’s tear up with pride, the hugs, the silly dance moves. All of the little, tiny details come together to create this full vision of your beautiful wedding day.

GALLERY DELIVERY
After the wedding, we edit your full wedding collection in a cohesive way, using our signature Feather & Twine style, that embodies how it felt to be there. You’ll receive your fully edited image collection 8-10 weeks after the wedding in an online gallery. We’ll then mail you your heirloom box with a USB drive of images.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
We photographed our first wedding together in the summer of 2010. We went full time, in January 2012 as Feather & Twine. We rebranding to Ruét Photo in 2024. Together, we have photographed over 350 weddings.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you deliver, and how many photos can we expect? How long is the turnaround time?
10-12 weeks after your wedding, we deliver fully edited, high-resolution files in your online gallery that will be complementarily available for a year and a USB that's mailed to you. We don't have any guaranteed photo minimum or maximum amounts, we shoot and curate the gallery based on how it felt to be there (amount of guests, amount of coverage, etc). In general, you can expect about 100 images per hour of coverage. For engagements, the turnaround time is 4-6 weeks, and you can expect between 100-200 images.
Do you sell albums or any print products?
Of course! You'll receive your images in an online gallery, with an integrated & personalized shop so you can see what your images would look like on all the products! If you click on the full galleries module below, you'll be able to navigate in to a gallery shop. We are in the process of building a bespoke album program for all of our couples, so if that's of interest to you – let us know!
Can we meet with you before we decide to book?
Absolutely! In fact, we actually meet up with all of our clients before signing any contracts! Beyond having beautiful wedding photos, we feel that it is so important to have a photographer who you connect with. Connection is EVERYTHING, and allows you to have images that really feel like you!
How can I make my wedding photos as amazing as possible?
Here's the truth: 1. Hire expert wedding artists you trust and enjoy spending time with. 2. Don't sweat the small stuff. Let the day flow and enjoy being in the moment. Lastly, in order to create art and photograph the true essence of your love, we need trust and vulnerability from the people in front of our lenses. It's okay to let out the emotions, it's okay to be yourself, and the more you let us in to your life the more your images will reflect that trueness.
Do you have any vendors you recommend?
YES! We are lucky to work in one of the best wedding industries in the country, and boy do we know some talented artists! Once the contract is signed, we have a full wedding planning guide we send to our couples that will list out our most trusted wedding artist friends. We are also happy to recommend at our consultation call.If you're not getting married in Texas, we can help you source vendors nearer to your wedding destination!
