Laila & Michael
Non-traditional, modern engagements

I’m literally obsessed with these engagements. When Laila & Michael reached out to us (they found us through Michael’s brother and sis-in-law, who just so happen to be some of our favorite clients ever – you can see their anniversary & wedding here & here!), so we immediately knew they were going to be a good fit for us. But, THEN, we started talking more and they’re getting married at the Fort Worth Modern but doing it completely their way. Very non-traditional. Very modern. And we are SO. PUMPED.

For their engagements, they basically wrote us that they wanted something modern and non-traditional just like their wedding day vision. The locations we used at their engagements are two locations we’ve been dying to use and when we sent them over as options, them saying “hell yes!” to them was just the cherry on top. It was a really, really, really great morning. We started at my favorite nursery, petted some nursery cats, and then ended at the Blanton. They only allow shoots while the museum is closed, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was the first time we’ve ever been there, and what a beyond perfect experience. These two could not be more kindred spirits!
