More days like this. Less than 30 people. A day planned exactly how they wanted. Hilariously, these two met us while we were shooting another intimate weekday wedding in the winter, and passed Talon while they were on a walk and grabbed our business card. We thought nothing would come of it, but when we got their email we knew instantly that we were all a great fit. We met up for their engagements at their favorite coffee shop then went to a park they walk around a lot, and bonded over books & coffee & their cute little pup.
We started the wedding day on South Congress, with their first look in front of the ivy wall (where, miraculously, we got a long space of no people for their moment), then we moved to Lenoir and they had a small ceremony intentionally written and then a long, candlelit dinner with their closest people (those lanterns!). They had some beautiful toasts, and some delicious food. Before moving over to Lenoir’s event house for some dancing, cake and catching up. My absolute favorite detail was that, as avid readers, their gift to their guests were a choose-your-own copy of their selection of their favorite books with bookmarks with one of their favorite quotes. Man, if only we could go back and redo our wedding. It was a hit! The wedding was amazing, and then everyone left with a new story!
